To bow at the feet of our greatest teachers — the wild mirrors of nature, the deep dreams of soul, the soft animal body of all those we belong to.

Let’s live and share practice.

Living as Love: Living as Wild Earth

Welcome, this program is just growing it’s wings, check back in soon, we have updates and booking links to come.

This ones for the rebels. For the world we can choose now to inhabit

Welcome. Your (very likely) here because you know there is more to the practice of yoga than stretching and strengthening.

We can make a little-big step together to re-dignify Yoga in the West.

Let’s not do it for the certificate. Let’s do it for love, for learning, for earth, of each other.

For the soul of the practice, the heart of humanity and the body of our dreaming earth. For all, and there are many, who ache under the weight of monetised spirituality.

Truth is we weren’t going to offer a program this year, but interest started to really flood in by January! And so we’re up for it, we want to meet your desire for deepening, but on brand new terms.

We need to meet you on the ground of understanding that whats sold today as Yoga is (usually) devoid of the thing! What we offer is yoga + somatics + wilderness connection. And what you’ll get is honest, clarifying and potent conversations about where the three intersect and where they don’t. Practices across the systems and practices at the confluence of the three.

You’ll get time in solitude, time with the wild land, time with community to break bread together, to share songs and skills and craft. Timeless space to wander, and dedicated ritual time to build the momentum of your practice.

Whether you want to teach, you already do, or you just want to learn and be in your love for practice, the Earth and community. This is for you.

“ … You are not a troubled guest on this earth,
you are not an accident amidst other accidents
you were invited from another and greater night
than the one from which you have just emerged …

-- David Whyte

“YES, BUT WHAT ABOUT CERTIFICATION !”

If you read the above and you are still not sure, read on.

Future teachers consider this,

If your looking for your first 200hr, let this be where you steep, your practice comes first! I’ve witnessed over 300 people move through their 200hr, some of those were students I studied with, some on trainings I supported and over 100 on the trainings I’ve facilitated. Most students have a steady āsana practice but the rest is new information and new experience. It’s a wild ride those 200hrs. There are some HUGE experiences and the train just keeps chugging, you’ve got to keep up. What’s opened in participants in those 200hr is rarely served in the way it deserves, particularly in large trainings. It’s ok, we get through, our lives get a little chaotic after, and ultimately maybe its for the better ? And… there is a better way. We want to support the journey well for new students so that if you are moving toward yoga qualifications in your life, you can attend to those studies with grounded discernment, and a readiness to tend what you might meet along the way.

Existing 200hr + Teachers,

Your practice comes first. When we start teaching the centre of our practice shifts from us to our creation for others. Over time, it shows. There’s currently no professional registration for yoga teachers that acknowledges over 500hrs of study. The ceiling is a 200hr plus 300hrs. If you’re committed to teaching you’ll complete well over 500hrs in your life time! You’ll do so many hours you’ll stop counting. And still the calibre of your teaching will never show in your numbers, it will shine through the sincerity of your own devotion.

  • "Knowledge is something that’s earned slowly, somatically, in context. And it’s earned through a person's own commitment to being in relationship over time. Knowledge is relational embodiment practice."
